Rented a scooter for the day and went to Kata beach. Took a very scenic (read: long) route getting there, but somehow got back in about 10 mins. The water was like taking a bath. Soooo warm. Swam a bit and sat around a bit drinking coconut milk straight from the coconut. Nothing all that exciting, but for your viewing pleasure here comes another panorama. careful with that coconut milk. It is internal drano. You drink too much and you had best clear your schedule and hold on to your f-ing hat.

absolutely. especially left-side-of-the-road driving. i actually feel like it's normal when driving a scooter to drive on the left side, since i've never driven on the right. i might get killed otherwise :)
