Dosboy's Bits and Bytes

WARNING: SPOILER ALERT (for those of you that care)

I just finished watching the season finale of the most recent episode of the new Knight Rider series, and I gotta say that it ended on a fantastic note.  As a die-hard fan of the original series I've quite enjoyed the first season.  They paid homage to The Hoff in the first episode, and though there were some cheesy bits along the way, each episode was pretty entertaining.  It took me awhile to get used to the new K.I.T.T. (IMHO, it should have been a far sleeker car, along the lines of the one that gizmodo "reported" on over a year ago).  But, taking sponsorship into consideration and the trend of little car bits flying everywhere that Michael Bay began with the horrendous Transformers movie, overall I grew to like K.I.T.T.

The last episode started off a little weak.  Cheesy moral lessons and a love scene thrown in to add a little brie.  But the last 10 mins were great.  Good fight scene between K.I.T.T. and K.A.R.R. (who has now become a transformer with the original voice of K.A.R.R. (and Optimus Prime!), Peter Cullen.  And then to top it off it ended with the rebirth of Knight Industries and F.L.A.G.

Well played NBC.  Well played.
